Anybody got anything specific for the course rules during the Worlds in Norway this August?
Its just for Hungary in 2010 and Italy 2011 everything was specified in detail regarding course content, suppose we were a bit spoiled maybe.

    Anyway,
40% of the course can be made up of 15mm and 25mm targets but it doesn't specify max distance of each of these targets?
It doesn't indicate either if they will be used for compulsory discipline targets? And max dist for each reduced kill if so.
No mention of max distances for compulsory disciplines either?

    Conor

P.s. just to let you all know I'm on 7 1/2 wks summer holidays from school and I have some spare time to spit some lead downrange! :D

Don't over do it mate, keep fresh for the comp.
All targets will be metal with holes in the front that you have to hit with your bits of lead, hitting the hole scores a point, most points wins.:D
    See you over there mate.:cool::D

    Barn doors

Problem is Paul, if I'm used to hitting barn doors over here in a short back yard and go out there to discover its the barn door locks I need to hit in a very long yard then it could end up in tears! :D:eek:

I've sent Andy a pm so hopefully all will be revealed or is he keeping something up his sleeve!

I must have a different set of the international rules because mine states 25% and the distances are given. Depending on shooting position it is either 20 or 35m.

    Rules

We don't have specified distances for reduced kill positionals in the rules, as we prefer to use common sense and set out the course after reviewing the weather forecast. Or put Jamesy's way Conor, me old mate, just hit more than anyone else - that's all you gotta do .... again ;) PS. a note for our Swedish friend...the international rules you refer to come into effect after 19th August 2012, and will be implemented in Germany :) PPS. things are busy this end, and we're looking forward to meeting everyone - some again, some for the first time...bring your best humour, and enjoy yourselves.

Can you predict the forecast, my main dive buddy lives in Norway and he told me that I should expect no wind but I can’t see how a mountain that warms with sun won’t create wind when it cold down.

Regards from the cod fish lover country :D

Keep eating the Cod you're talking about and you'll have your own wind to contend with :D

It's not a sprint it's a marathon, or is it?

Thanks Andy, my old mate, that really does make it crystal clear. :)

Anyway I'm off later this week to run a race, organisers have told us to the first man past the line is the winner...only thing is we don't know if it's a 100m sprint or a 26.2 mile marathon!
