Just had the 'Competitors Guidance Notes' email and make the following observations:

1st session shooters get a total 2 1/2 hours time on the zero range on the Sunday, whereas 2nd session shooters get only 1 1/4 hours. Why not extend 2nd session zeroing until 11.45 or the end of the 1st session competition, or fairer still an extra 1 1/4 hours zeroing time after the 2nd session, Sunday only?

On the Monday 1st session shooters can watch 2nd shooters go round. This may add unfair pressure to a 2nd session shooter who was in 1st place on the Sunday and spots a near rival following him/her round the whole course on the Monday, perhaps with the aim of putting them off!?

    Don't you like being watched?

Worked well last year and no complaints and dont forget if you shoot session 1 the first day you will be shooting session 2 the following plus because some idiots shot caravans and the hose pipe last year the range has to be marshalled.

Sorry our arrangements are not to your liking David, I believe you raised a similar concern about being watched last year.

If our arrangements really upset you then please drop either Pete Sparkes or myself an email & we will be happy to arrange a refund of your entry fee.

    I'll second that statement :D
I'm rubbish if I'm being watched or not. So what ever is easiest for the organisers I will agree with :D

    What a suck up.

Pete, I'm not the least bit upset, or worried about being watched, but others may turn out to be in the situation I describe.

1 1/4 hours should be ample time to zero but that's not my point. My point is why do 1st round shooters get the extra convenience of double?

For those who know me they'll know that I think it does.
For the others who don't, they'll have guessed I like to split hairs.

I think people should remember that the organizers and officials from the world series do all this in there spare time and receive nothing in return apart from the thanks of shooters who attended this event last year and found it to be first class. I can't remember hearing anyone complain or raise any major issues from last year and to that end I for one would like to see this years competition be run as it was last year and left alone for the organizers to handle. Oh yeah well done to all who give up there time to make this happen again.

    Well said.

Hats off to any shooting marshalls as well, with the rubbish some of them will have to deal with and possible resulting effects on their scores.

Andy I don't think there will be shooting marshalls, I believe that the Marshalls for Session 1 will be drawn from Session two shooters and vice versa;)

There will still be shooting marshals this year as most of the experienced marshals are all in the same session

We've had 90 more entries this year too:D:D:D

As we have so little time to zero could we have the zero range screened off as well please due to the fact that if a member of the general public from gun makers row happens to stray over to see what's going off and looks at me it may put me off then I'll have to start all over again:eek::rolleyes:
I'm going into panic just thinking about it.....cold sweat:D:D:D

Please read the HFT rule book of 100 ways to get into someones bubble:rolleyes::)
