I know at least half them guys and whenever there is work to be done, they are first in line!

I also know how crafty they are and there won't be any giveaways, be sure of that! :D:D

    Well done lads!

Isn't it a bit early to be putting the targets out? They will go rusty.

I imagine putting out targets is the last thing on these guys minds, clearing scrub on 60 targets will last weeks.

No, the Sussex lads bring up 60 trainee Hobbits - armed with giant toadstools, these brave woodland creatures stand guard over the targets night and day, using the toadstools as umbrellas, so they are kept nice and dry till the big day.

    :D Well a ******** daft question deserves an equally ********* daft answer:eek:o

The question was of course bait, to find out what really goes on so far in advance of the competition. Hobbits are not much good against trolls, besides they like to drink too much :)

The planning for the worlds and worlds courses start about a month after the previous worlds finish, so a lot longer than around 6 weeks beforehand;)

You got that right! We started by walking through the wood to decide on the course layout and couldn't find much of last years course the undergrowth was that bad!

Mmmm Gary against a Troll now that's just not fair unless the Troll can bring his big brother.

How can you drink too much? What a bizarre concept.

Proposed firing line for the course to the right as you face the two woods is very well drained at the moment and looks like it should hold up well for the whole weekend, well i doubt there will be any mat straps snapping through suction anyway.
