Have a look at the WHFTA website - it seems to suggest you might be lucky:

"03/03/19 - Updated entry list for 2019 now posted. List now closed for new entries until end of March at which point any remaining spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis."

For the FT Worlds in August? Afraid not. All the places were handed out in January.

If there is a waiting list can you put me on it please Scott Pywell BFTA No 81456 .
Also if on the 7th Aug people don't turn up or are ill is there a system in place to allocate place ?
Or would people need to be there on the day just incase?

Surely if there are spaces it would just go down to the next qualifier on the ranking list?

As has been pointed out above, what the EFTA use as a 'waiting list' could change depending on the time window we have and people on it could change their mind depending on what time they have. So forming a list is probably not the best way forward at the moment because as time goes those on the list might not be able to attend. And obviously someone who narrowly missed qualification would feel agreived if a place was handed to someone who was on a first-come-first-served list before them.

It requires an RGB to tell the EFTA they are not able to fill a place beforehand via official channels.
At the moment RGB's are informing us of the names and what else they require during the event and I expect at this stage (which lasts for about a month more) is when we'll see if any RGB's have relinquised places, or not. As all places have all been paid for, and there are no refunds, I expect RGBs will look to solve that issue internally before stating they will not be filling a place. I am sure no RGB want's to be seen as holding open a space they cannot fill so once they have exhausted those possibilities I would expect they'd let us know of any spares. No RGB's have requested more places so the expectation is any that do appear will go to an EFTA shooter.

We (the EFTA WFTC Committee) are actutely aware there is huge demand for any potential places that maybe on offer and we will do everything to ensure we fill capacity and as fairly as we can.

Agreed, Holly has been a constant source of amusement to me for the past 25 years, it's just a pity that he's currently consigned to the Rock, still I'm sure once they find the right combination of meds/surgery he'll be allowed to rejoin the greater population as a model citizen.
I think that spending three days partnering Holly would be Neil's idea of absolute hell...:D
