Hi im taking it that this is along the lines of celebrating what Johnny did for shooting ? as i think a lot of us had our memorial moment at W,A,R when we all stood there in silence remembering Johnny ! also will there be a charge to shoot or will it be free to enter the comp and all would be welcome im guessing ?

    Nathan,

Any chance of details on time, number of targets, UKAHFT rules (or not)?

Doesn't look like there's much interest so far, which is a shame. Perhaps the information given is too vague.

Can't say I'm surprised; most of the Worcester "team" enjoyed a great morning's shoot at Furnace Mill.

Hope sense will prevail soon, with those who have the interest of the club at heart taking the reins again.

    One can but hope,:(

Just to make it clear that although I have been part of the organising team at W.A.R for over two years my association with the club ceased completely after the English Open. Subsequent events had nothing to do with me whatsoever.

    c'mon

arrange a shoot and not even show up , let alone not give prior warning at least on here , that stinks ! ..... I shot at WAR a couple of months back for the AGF meet and it's in lovely surroundings , with lovely views .... The course that was set out was good ...

I hope this is just a one off ....

    Blimey:confused:

This clashed with the first NEFTA winter league shoot or else myself and Mark would have travelled, we even spoke about it last week. If we had done a 6 hour round trip to find no shoot someone would be needing a bloody dentist:mad:

I would like to see the names of those currently running the club along with an explanation as to why no-one could be arsed to let people know.......:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

As far as I know the O.P. is in sole charge of the ground and organising shoots.

This is a real shame. WAR was such a good club with some of the best courses i've shot.
A no show from the organiser is just not acceptable.
Like you say Chris, people could spent their hard earned traveling to this shoot. Not letting people know is just no good.

Which is why I was keen to point out that my involvement with the club ended when Johnny died. Hopefully those responsible will respond with some sort of explanation if there is one.
