...some of these manufacturers experiment with one off's - Mercedes I think dabbled and sold a carbon fibre push bike...just to highlight technological know how, and cross over of technology (but really just a 'marketing 'excercise')

If the brilliant minds at Williams , had a go at a Williams F1 , FT Rifle...wouldnt that be cool ? :D

ie: Titanium, Carbon Fibre, Magnesium, etc...:D

No, but a shed :D ...where I keep spare wheels (Mavic tubular GP4 & SSC rims, with Campagnolo hubs - 28, 32, 36 spokes) several track frames, and a couple of bikes (Pesenti Carbon road racer & custom Time trial bike w. 26"front wheel), all kitted with Campagnolo Record parts...and the usual Carnac, Time, and Look shoes/pedal combos....from my road and track racing days at Univ. :D ...perhaps time to get a mountain bike ;)

I know that anything that get's near the top of the tree in any sport is going to be expensive...and for those of us who deem that sport as more necessary than luxury, we will gladly pay it.
If that's what floats your boat then good luck to you.:)
