As above. Also why don't they have rucks or line outs? And who would win if the best league team played the best union team? What if a Union player used Leaguey boots?

Just curious like, not trolling or anything.

Lol Ryan, some players do switch though and I'm sure they abide by the rules and don't moan about it! :0)

So who would win? And why is a try only worth 4 points in league? Is union a beginners game so more points stops them getting disheartened?

It's a serious question, like if you locked a Leaguey in a room with a Union player to fight to the death, who would win?

I'll bite Ryan:DBeen watching StHelens RL for 39 years 35 of those home and away every week.in that time I have seen plenty of union guys give it a go,not many make the grade.Forwards especially tend to be to slow.on the flip side quite a few league players go to union for the challenge(money):Dand seem to do ok and don't tend to return to league.

I'm meant to be going to Norway and having a run out in their grand final for the Bodo Barbarians, probably stick me at lock or prop. Any tips other than smash the feckers with bad tekkers and don't push in the scrum?

Concentrate on getting back the 10m every time, giving easy yards is the killer in league these days, most try's tend to come on the back of penalties theses days because all the sides are big and quick now,as I'm sure you know stopping someone yards from the line weighing 17 plus that can do 100m in under 11secs is a feat on its own.
If you do play prop if you can turn in the tackle and release the ball you will be very popular:D

When your too old, slow and picked up too many injuries to play League, then you should give serious consideration to 'turning' to Union.
