    Hi All

Can anybody advise which lockable hard case to buy suitable for carrying my gun on an airline.

Would it be best to remove my scope and re zero when I arrive at my destination or with the correct case would it be ok to leave it attached.

    Thanks in advance

    Andy

Thanks Andy, would the scope be safe as well or would you remove?

    Travelling with peli case..

I've used a peli case for a few years now and their awesome...

I leave my scope on the rifle during transport and it's never been an issue...

    Hope that helps...

    Get a Storm.

Like a Peli on outside but a bit deeper, more padding.

Just priced a Peli case up with the foam and locks its over £300

I will have a look at the Storm.

At the end of the day I need my equipment to get get there in one piece or its going to be a waste of time going!

In the words of Gilly " I am not going to look at rocks and water youth I am going to shoot" :D

I've got a flight case I took my rig in to Hungary, with scope on, no problems.
I can bring it for viewing if you like.

I've travelled quite a bit on flights with my kit. Peli 1720, the only thing I remove is the butt hook. Zero has never moved, I've got total confidence in it.

I've witnessed so called flight cases, which are inferior cheap imitations arrive after the luggage handlers have had fun, with busted/split corners, and/or handles and wheels missing!

    Peli or Storm cases only.

The 1720 is ideal and will fit across the back seat or boot of most cars, the longer 1750 is very long.

    Thanks Conor

    I think I'm sorted now.
