I bought a Combro a good few years back and its ok........

But am looking at getting a better one

Didnt realise the Skan ones, which alot of people say are the best, are only £200(thought they were more like £350)

Or should i be looking at something else?

I have two Skan chronos, one about ten years old that's had a very hard life and has damage from pellet splatter, the other a year old, and one consistently reads 3fps and occasionally 4fps more than the other with velocities in the mid 770fps.

I previously had two chronos from another manufacturer, and it was a lottery as to which of them read higher, and they rarely came anywhere near within 4fps of each other.

Skan is ok, but it rounds... it can only display certain speeds.

    LMBR R2 is solid.

CED M2 IR is good but probably either the above will be cheaper now.

My vote would be for the LMBR range of Chronographs the shorter model is quite portable.
I have this model and its never missed a shot yet.

You can get a nice little manbag for it, provides good protection and keeps it in good nick if lugging it about.

I got one of the FX radar jobs, seems very good for the money and gives easy to use and configure data, it's obviously not perfect, but it's not light sensitive and can do hundreds of pellet strings if you like.

One of the guys at our club who made the app converted the skan it will also work as skan but he put another lead on the skan to work for his app I haven’t found a better app for all the information you get from his app I was hoping the fx chronograph would be similar his app will only work on some android phones but I bought a tesco hudl of eBay for £20 I believe this guy Simon is based in Hertfordshire I have run both the skan with his app and the readings are nearing enough the same as my other chronographs
