WHFTA Top 3 Open Results: Mark Wall wins the worlds

Ryan Charlton 2nd and Pete Dutton 3rd after a tense shootoff between all three, which ended on long standers, Mark, last to take the shot, duly dropping his stander on the 2nd attempt after Ryan and Pete had missed on their second shots.

    Full scores are up here

Thanks to Pete and the stats crew for a fast posting of the results, and to WHFTA, Countryman Fairs and all those that helped make it a very enjoyable weekend. Congrats to all and their results :) (on a personal note, well done Craig Lord for his 3rd place... looks like Matt's breeding some good juniors up on the hill at Christchurch)

Congratulations to all who took part.

To hold it together over two days and two courses has to be extremely difficult.

Well done to the winner and also well done to those who chased him home.

Well done to all who took part, that was tough :D:D.

For Gary Morrison ref your request, my wife visited Tunbridge wells a while ago and informs me that there is a very good knitting shop on the main street should you and the other Sussex lads decide to try something else:p:D:D:D

    That is fantastic Mark !:)

    Well done buddy .

I can only think that it was the final practice shoot at Nelson that honed you , our Nelson wind is one of the most tricky around !!!;)

Well done Mark, Ryan and Pete on top scores and Mark that final stander you took to cement your win was awsome, with all the presure and a load of spectators. Its ******* lovely for you.

    top of the Worlds

to Mark Wall one of the top people in the sport its just great .
When it went to standers I was convinced he would win as he won one of the best standing shoot-offs at Emiley Moor in a UKAHFT round about 2 years ago I have ever witnessed .
Had the pleasure of shooting with him before and a top man ,Welsh as well but you cant have every thing
    but this will do
THE WORLD CHAMPION - MR MARK WALL
    good luck and well done
    Ian
