[xFLOAT=left]http://shooting-the-breeze.com/internal/2009_WHFTA/Kieransmall.jpgg[/xFLOAT]WHFTA: Kieran Turner Wins the Worlds!

After the first day, Kieran had set the pace with a clearance of the course, leaving 10+ people nipping at his heels on 59. With the pressure on, he set about the task on the second day, and made doubly sure of his title chances by clearing it again!. 120 targets, 120 shots, 120 points. It was the icing on the cake for a superb weekends shooting.

Simon Jones took the .22 class, John Mallows the recoiling class, Rachel Waite was the top lady, and Christchurch's Ben Russell won the Juniors with 166, which would have been enough to see him in the shoot off for 4th in the adult class.

Walther won the constructor's championship, narrowly pushing ahead of the Steyr/Daystate team by one point.

There's a large pic thread here and the scores are posted below.

Thanks to all involved for a top weekend, especially the hosts, Countryman Fairs.

    Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved for a great weekend.

Both myself and the wife had a great time and I had to bow down yet again to her ability in beating me.

Joint 4th in the ladies division after 10 months of shooting isn't bad I suppose. I wont say where I came but hey it was a great weekend no matter what the scores were.

Will try and make a few of the UKA rounds this year too :)

    Thanks again Sparky and Co.

    Rik
