I know I have seen an answer to this, but I can't find it.

I have a couple of Sightron 10-50 x 60 scopes and want to add Butler Creek type end covers. I think this 69mm dimension is the same, or near the same as a Big Nikko.

I found some reference to Optics Warehouse but if the Nikko ones they have fit, its too bad, as they are out of stock.:eek:o

Butler creek 53A should fit if heated a little, they still make them but hard to source.

That was me. Another shooter had found a bunch of new old stock. Have yet to get any though so I just pinged him. No idea how many are spoken for - if I end up with any extra they could find there way here but my suspicion is that tons of guys jumped on them.

Would it be that hard for Butler Creek to make more of those again? The FT community demands it! :)

The Optics Warehouse big Nikko one fits the Sightron (tight fit), thats what I use on mine.
No where as good quality as the Butler Creek but it does the job.
I might even have a spare kicking about, I will have a look.

    69 flip ups

It must have been Optics warehouse that I saw earlier. So I have sent them an e-mail to when they expect to have some.

I use a weaver polar cap size u that covers 65-72 mm. Nice tight fit on my T50. They have a grey and a yellow lens that's are interchangeable.

    Flip Ups

    Not a lot......
Anyway met a guy at the Euros who sold me a Weaver Size U flip up.
Fits like a glove. Rubber end so can be forced onto a big range of scope diameters.
    See http://www.opticsplanet.com/s/weaver-polar-caps-size-u
He had three, but this was the last one.
    :)
