    Talking FT here as it causes a bit of debate from time to time.Clarify the following please;
    A couple of shooters shoot a lane in competition, its quite dark, no dispute ovet the targets. Next pair through one smaller than average and claims to have a twig across his path to the target. Can the twig be removed? I have heard than once a target is shot the lane or target cannot be altered? AFAIK the target cannot be adjusted once shot at, is this correct? But whats the rule on line of sight to the target?

    hay big man how,s life
    the bfta ruling is the target must be CLEARLY visable from all shooting positions for all so even if 50 have shot and a twig hangs in the way if called we should remove

    I think the rule about the target standing once it's being shot only applied to the distance, it was brought in after a few OTT target

    As Doz says the target must be fully visible so if a branch falls over it you can ask for it to be removed.

    I don't think the target placement can be changed, so if the obstruction was something like a bank or thick log, then it's tough titty. I expect there's times when weather or a string can bring down obstructions.
