I've been running the Webley Mosquitos in the Walther... my last batch wasn't as good as the one before, but sizing and weighing has brought the performance back... 6mm CTC group at 55yds for 5 shots off the knee put a smile on my face.

The sizing and weighing is more to reduce the odd behaviour of 1-2 shots in 20 than tightening the core groups.

Got plenty of Lazerdomes and JSB 4.53's.

But hopefully one day a British firm will make a good pellet.

Makes me wonder if there's some euro only patent on the diablo shape...

Perhaps it's the production method that's too expensive to set up hence other companies can't make them the same unless they chuck in £ £ £'s of investment (risky if it still doesn't work).

I have just found out that my MK4 prefers jsb 4.52's after just buying a sleeve of Daystate select 4.5'3s as i thought it was the bee's knees with them

For me, the batch number on the side makes more of a difference than the head size did... but now I use mozzies it's irrelevant... and I now size anyway.

    Size em down ;)
I had some good results sizing 53's down to 52 in my MPR, not really tested the daystate with anything other than JSB 4.52, seems ok with them..... so far.

There has been talk for Years about Lead being restricted as a Contact Material

Current Document is the Reach -

Can not see anyone willing to invest in machine/s that will Only work with Lead

No I do not want a Lead Ban / restriction as well aware of other available materials
    in Sub 12FP Gun's :(

But am aware that a growing number are now giving Pax Pellets a try and finding
with a little time and effort that they can give them good results

Especially those going in .22 - as the 14.00 Grain Defiant is a good Pellet in 3 Head Sizes

And Doubt if anyone will ever produce a more consistant pellet ;)

sorry Bob but in 177 most people i talk to can't get them to group in their guns, i tried them in 5 different guns myself and over 35 yards they are rubbish, others may have different results.

In what way do you mean consistent ???

They may be all the same weight but I know lots who've tried them & thrown them away, I have some spare if you need some.

weight to weight consistency isn't worth anything if they won't group
