    Hi,

Can anyone identify the second rifle from the bottom in this pic? Not TM1000 but the all chrome beauty above it.

    Cheers

    Kev

Hats off to you gentlemen, thanks for that. I should have just asked in the first place and saved myself a whole load of google time.

    But

AR 5 S by the look of it . BUT if you are tempted by it's beauty , they can give you a lot of grief if you get a dodgy one . really you need to live close to nottingham way to make sure you can get it sorted by steve. but there is not a better looking rifle ( well cept the GC2 in a john welham stock ) ??? HOLLY:)

Agreed these are very fetching! But a google search has revealed some have reg problems? I do like the idea of a hand made British rifle though, maybe an after market reg would be the solution?

Fit a John Ostler reg: I was getting my AR5s "done" every 12-18mths: I've had a JO reg in it for the last 5 mths and it's behaving nicely now.

John used to work at Ripley, and is the master for EV2 regs as well.

ISP airstream is now the next google search.

Yes I found a few threads on the JO reg and some say a Dave wellham reg is ok too?

I really am quite taken by the rifle so I suppose it would just be par the course of owning one.

ISP website says the airstream is no longer available? It doesn't look as elegant as the ripley though.

As with most things shooting I would need to shoot both and see which one suits me best.

Before you purchase anything, try it first don't go by looks, "don't judge a book by the cover".

I agree completely I wouldn't buy anything like this until I had a play with one. Function over form.
