    Hi,

Just to let everyone know we are making good progress resolving the issues arising around the event.

The EFTA won't be able to update straight away, partly because i'm busy today, and because we need to chat about things further, however the response from the FFTI has been good and positive.

I will update as soon as I have concrete info, but I am pleased to say the outlook is good and positive.

Please circulate this response, as i'm busy today and perhaps unable to keep everyone in the loop straight away.

    Cheers

    Rob

I haven't... but will ask tonight.

I was assuming they would be accepting them via email as per the email Pete got here...

    Payment clarification

As per the email in question Rob ?

As you seem to be clarifying things daily in one shape or form ,one thing that has sent alarm bells ringing is regarding the entry form is payment ?

With things being very vauge at the moment with the Worlds, the payment brief on the original email that Pete posted was just international bank transfer, on an email ? I don't think so !

Did anyone else recieve this email ? i didn't.

Surely based on Hungary the Pay-Pal option is not rocket sceince to establish , it gives relative security & a receipt to everyone.

And before people start saying ' i don't use Pay-Pal or bank transfers are safe ' , it's only my opinion on the matter, but so far the whole thing is not filling me with confidence.

    Just a little update.

Payment can be done via paypal.

And we have places reserved, so that means at least those that contacted me and the ones I know about are ok for a place.

Communication is good now, so hopefully that's the hurdle jumped and we can get on with enjoying the event now :)

I will update those I have received names for via email :)

Haven't done the work or received the rulesyet , but between now and then I can't see how WFTF rules can possibly be overidden...

unless there's a proposal within the WFTF to ban them, but that would involve defining a shooting jacket, which I can't see is actually possible...

WFTF seems to be the way

Several answers on italian Wftf forum this morning, all basically saying the same

"....we are definig all rules and within few days we will post them in order to clarify in a unique official way all doubt

Obviously our guideline is to respect WFTF rules

    Nick"

I hope to send out an email to those who I know have told me they intend to attend tonight before I am away for the weekend.

I will update this post and the other boards with the details that have been sent through.

All those that contacted me to express an interest can rest easy, as their places are assured.
