    Shoot off target

    Rob,

To be exact fella, the target was actually 28 yards. Im sure John and James would confirm that unless my scope was reading 7 yards over haaahaaa. Hope not cos it seemed to work ok prior to that target.

    Speak soon....

It might have been ;) who knows... I was told it was 20m by the setters, and James W reckoned it was 22 yds...

That looks like a US Mac1 with a Mk3 Big Nikko mounted on top. One of the American competitors I'd think.

We met Tim from Mach 1 in Poland 2006 who builds and shoots this gun.

Very nice guy but ask Dopper what he thought of the rig.

I was / am still a novice and could not possibly pass comment.

Great pics and glad everyone had a fantastic time.

    Essex 50 tomorrow if interested?

Here we are then, a few of my photos from the worlds. I took quite a few photos but I have selected only a few, I don't want to make you suffer too much. Click on the link HERE and probably best to hit 'slideshow'

Hope you like them, they really don't do justice to the event.

    Cracking series James :D

(i need to check out my 70-200 closely, it had a bit of a bump over there... and some of my shots afterwards were a little wierd... i'm hoping it was just shooting with the converter wide open and wide that is the problem)

Rob some of the lighting conditions were terrible, dark and/or contrasty, you are used to the 1D too remember. I too gave the camera a knock trying to get back in through the van window at speed, seems OK though.

Could someone who has access to the SA forum post the link to my photos please.

    Cheers
