John Lee fill a flask........ yer taking the pi$$.
I just want to ask if there are some hotels that will be
recomended for international shooters?
With bus connection to the competition
as have been in the last worlds?
Because there are numerous hotels that visitors could book into in the area we cannot organise a bus transfer service I'm afraid.
I just thought you maybe had made some
arrangemang with 1 or 2 Hotels in the area
that could take most of the shooters.
But then I know its hotel and rental car that
Could the EFTA suggest 3 or 4 hotels where shooters and accompanying people might want to stay? UK shooters at those hotels might then be able to offer lifts to the shoot.
I think that could be a good Idea. I think that its going to be a
But many international shooters also come for the possibility to
after the shooting have a beer eat and chat and enjoy the talk with
all the shooters from the uk and rest of the world.
This is also a social event for many shooters you only meet once a year.
If all are spreed out to 20-30 hotels you miss a lot of that.
And of course all rental cars needed for people flying in from abroad.
Just to drive 80-100 km during a week depending where you stay.
No complaint I know that a lot of people put in a lot of time in
this venue to pull this off.
Just a thought.
We'd love to. The problem is hopefully illustrated below... which 3/4 do you think people will be in? There's so many it's impossible to guess!
You can see by the scale there's dozens all within a 5 mile radius. (The Heart of England venue is the one central priced at £44)
That's the great thing about the venue. It has a bar and restaurant and veranda so everyone can chill out after the shoot, either after the AM or PM session.
Just a short walk up to the Quicken Tree restaurant/pub.. relax and socialise at the venue with the other shooters.
When Bri says a short walk we are talking a 100 yards.
Looks great. We just keep our fingers crossed for the weather
I look forward to August 2019!
See you all then.
