Well I sold all my shooting stuff after Quarry so spend more time with the wife at weekends and she now has been put on some weekend duties at work....lovely.
I admit I've been missing shooting as well as the people involved in it so I've gone and purchased a second hand Weihrauch HW80k for the occasional outing to safe me going crazy in the house when I'm home alone.
I won't be doing all the travelling of recent years and it is more of a social thing but at least I can still keep tabs with everyone when they're in and around Yorkshire.

good choice of rifle there, you can do just about any discipline with it!

I find if I dont get out of the house after a week in work (shootings a great excuse) I get irritable and bored!

    Dave,

Nothing wrong with HW80 mate. I shot one for fist couple of years when I started in FT. If you can, get to Anston on Sunday for the NEFTA winter league shoot (recoiling class). It will be nice to see you back on the scene pal.

    Regards
    Steve

Cheers guys. Don't think I'll have it before the weekend Steve as its got to come from London and the post is slow at the mo. Bonnie and Clyde has offered to settle it for me so its probably off to him first when it comes.

I'm glad to hear you're going to keep shooting.

Cheers Dave look forward to seeing you in the hunters next year.
I won the NEFTA hunter recoil class in 2008 with a TX mate and really enjoyed that season but now its going to be more of a social thing to get me out of the house when Karen is working without the expense of keeping a precharge.

I'm really pleased you'll have the opportunity to shoot again.

Can't wait Dave. See you soon, I hope and don't be a stranger on AAOC just because you've got a Winerack.)

Nice one Dave, really glad to hear that you'll be back. There's a fun shoot at Emley on the 27th.

Ordered a cheap milldot 3-9x40 from JSR for now Chris with one piece mount. It will do me for now as long as its spring rated.
I'll have a couple of tins of JSBs off you when I see you mate if you've got any .

Dave if it's .177 try Mossies in it first, and if it's .22 try Falcon Accuracy!

both produce better results than JSB exact in the HW barrels I have!
