I am new to FT shooting and am looking for a suitable rifle, I have been advised that the AR20 is a good starter rifle, anyone have one for sale at the right price, or an idea where to find one second hand.

    Regards

    Ray

RayB it would help if you gave a location as so many sales are F2F these days.

I can endorse the choice of AR20, excellent value for money and able to compete.

The AR20 are fantastic and accurate guns. The standard hardware (grip, hamster and cheekpiece) lets the gun down, but replace these with a wooden set grind the barrel shroud off and you have a great looking target rifle that will keep up with Steyrs and Walthers IMHO. ;)

The downside is the whole thing weighs a tonne!!!

Dave Henderson ( Deaf Dave) has a 6 month old AR still boxed for sale in Southampton..

It's just a tad to heavy for the OB to lug around a 40-shot HFT course and he gone back to using his HW100c
Comes with scope and new proper trigger blade assembly

Circa £600 ish & I'm sure he will negotiate...

He's not on here so PM for his text number if your interested.
