There have been some recent posts on various BBS's saying that shooters have been informed by a few target shops that Walther are no longer making the LG300 Dominator. This was contrary to what we had been told a while ago so I emailed them earlier in the week & I've today recieved confirmation that they have enough parts to produce the Dominator for the next 2-3 years & will also be able to fit longer hunter or Carbon shrouded barrels if requested.

If your gun shop doesn't seem to want to order you one then why not contact Walther direct, they will sell you one no problem

given the euro price at the moment (almost 1:1), I'd say that's a fair reflection.

I seem to remember that a couple of years ago they were around 1800e ... stuff like the carbontec and anatomics worked out as £1800+ in europe when the euro was vaguely good, but they were around £2500 RRP in the UK.

Although I suspect the margin %'s are the same as any other gun, that's probably tempered by the fact that these don't fly off the shelves every day. But it looks to me as if the margins have been swallowed a little.

That said, a complete 2nd hand dommie these days is probably around 4 figures. I've heard of a couple of bargains in recent weeks, but they've not hit public sales... and they've been close to that. I've bought guns and actions quite close to 4 figures.

Given that Walther are willing to customise the guns to spec, it's a stretch obviously, but understandable given the money markets.

I expect other manufacturers will see increases as their stock dwindles... it will be interesting to see how much the UK boys shift their prices, either because they are affected by european production lines that they sell under their name, or perhaps they might want market parity.

Bear in mind that the Steyrs are £1500 at the moment, the Daystate GP's are £1700... EV's are cheap by comparison at £1100... FWB's sit in the middle to low at £1300.

Unfortunately, given the £:€ rate, that's not far off £1800 for the alutec....

I was in Churchleys of Worthing last week and they told me they thought Walther had stopped making the rifle??
Does anyone have a link (In english) to a site with the options for 12fpe rifles 'Off the shelf'...or a phone number?
Also are they Sweet standard?....or Do we grovel to Pete for a Tune up?..:D:D
Always liked the Steyr 'Feel' but they seem so unreliable!
    Thanks Mike.:D

You can get a AA s400 t/h walnut stock for less than half the price then use the left over money to scope it up :)
