Just to check if the shoot is on for tomorrow?

And is the venue as-shown on the WAFTA website? (between Pontypool and Crumlin on the A479)?

I've been off the FT circuit for a long time, and I don't know how often the WAFTA website is updated these days! :shot:

    Thanks Fellas! :)

I'm busy trying to prep my kit - but its been so long, that I can't remember half of what I need  ... Found a box of antique washed and sorted die 2 Premiers though, so prepare to be less than amazed! ;)

Gary - Thats a shame that you're working on a shoot day :( You have a good memory to remember the Daystate! John Marley still has his Huntsman (in a laminate CS1000). But I have recently upgraded to an old AR4 Shilouette. This will be the first time I've used it, so I'm well looking forward to it!

    Thanks again, and ATB,

    Phil :)

P.S. I hear young Berty is a pretty good shot these days? I'll believe that when I see it!! ;)

    Well done little Jack

Nice course today at Blaina gwent, just right for regional level.

started off fairly easy, not much range to targets then picked up the range with some tricky longer ones and a couple of longer standers to test the best.

The best is Jack, once of little stature but growing it seems with each shoot.

well done on clearing the course and not being braight down to your shooting partners level. doz should be ashamed in missing two.

and as for Berty dropping three, might as well give up :p

enjoyable day, hardly any wind to speak of but most importantly to me, a zero range:)

    i thank you

Thank you guys for your comments and for your attendance, also congratulations to Jack for an impressive performance. He is only the 2nd person to clear the course at B/Gwent.

Also a big thanks should go to the members who helped put out and clear the ground for new shooting positions which took a lot of effort and time. As for the zero range I made a big case for making sure we had set out properly and i measured all the ranges with tape. My only wish was to be there early enough to put out more targets for the zero.

    Thanks for comments and feedback.

Fair play Jack is getting luckier every comp he goes to gaga.

Awesome shooting today Jack glad to see you get a clearance under your belt. I got a funny feeling it won't be the last either.

I was happy with my score cleared my disciplines which is always good.
