Bloody cold day at Nelson, think it must have been around "0" most of the day

Bit of a cok up with one of the targets, the short one in the lane was 55 yards!!
The other 64! Target was pulled so scores from an Ex 39 course

Flicky wind that was unreadble at time, but nice to see standers that were of medium and short distances only:)

Are these all the scores for B class?

Just noticed my name up in the joint 2nd "fighting for a possible 3rd" maybe my score card got overlooked or not all of the top scores are all on there?

Could someone please clarify my finishing position

Look forward to seeing the photos. You had a nice little setup going on there forgot the target station- should be some interesting shots thanks Simon.
    ......................

On a whole was a good event, Thanks to everyone that helped make this shoot happen was nice to get back out there after the Christmas (although found it tough, maybe I ate to much Christmas pudding over the holidays found it hard getting into a decent position).

Wind was here or there but seemed unusually calm for nelson (going on past experiences oc)

Congratulations to all the class winners good :shot:

Look forward to returning and much improving my score :)

:DJust a few reminders of a cold days shooting

As ever, comments meant to amuse and guide, not offend:)

Good Zero range, would have been excellent if it had a 64 yard zero board lol:D

Doz practicing standers on the zero range, was it worth it?

Nigel put in another good score of 30+

As Bear was struglling to hit much, derk had a few pop shots with his gun to see if it was zeroed. not very tight on the rules in Wafta:rolleyes:!

Lucky Jack throwing his dice on the kneelers, least he was doing correctly

Even if he did look like an Extra from "Noddy"

Craig thaught he would shoot wit the young master and pick up tricks?
either that or he is a noddy fan?

    Nelson stats

Been doing some stats from nelson.
hopefully they are on this excel worksheet?

    It ashows who missed what?

target 3 was a hard one, so was T 31, but thats t be expected !

the longer standers and kneelers took lots of marks.

The reducers dont seem to have bothered most.

Hope you enjoy comparing and perhaps a pattern in your missed shots will show you where practise is needed?

Ranges are in meters, just add roughly 10% on for yards. i.e 47m = 52.5 ish yards.
hits ar give "1" while miss is 0

Thank you Simon for an excellent report of our shoot.
As regards the "testing" target, Mea Culpa for not ensuring that the long ranges were checked as usual.

Given your score, i think you should do your ranges in meters like me lol:p

seriously though, one of the rules of Ft is "Muzzel in front of line, trigger behind." Just incase you were not aware and thats why you were sat so far back. And no you were not the only one!;)
