Oaktree for Rd 6
A few changes planned and under way. Nothing too drastic, reverse course direction and about a dozen changes of target location or angle.
Lack of foliage is making it easier for the wind to pick its way round the course better these days, so should be a good test with the odd "gimmie" / something for all target still popping up here and there
Sillywets will be out as side shoot
Start time will be 9am, Briefing 8.55 am
Great, that should give Gadget plenty of time for a few practice rounds
No he blew his van up this week so is too busy making a new one to be able to shoot.
Oaktree is closed for ft shooting until the shoot, except to Me and Mike lol.
That will be the day, I bet its in full training mode lol
ok you got us.
we train hard as we dont want to drop to B grade lol
Forecast is now looking ok for Sunday, rain and wind dropping from 10 till about 3pm so should be ok?
Path around the course is muddy in places.
Suggest boots or wellies as footwear sunday.
You will loose your trainers !
Forecast is mainly dry for tomorrow.
Brief showers at 10.45am for about 30 mins
The 9 am 20mph wind dropping to 8mph by the time we finish at 2pm.
Zero range and Sillys open from 8.15am
9 am start for the main.
12 pm is last we would like a shooter to start please.
Path is muddy and slippy in places, so suggest Boots or willies.
Course has a few gimmies to keep the score chart ticking, especially for any fat springer shooters lol!
Good length Standers and kneelers to sort out the top of grades, just a few uphill shots (remember that fat bloke with a springer is coming!)
Top AA 33 - 35
A 29- 32
C 20 - 25
Depends on the wind strength?
I`ll be happy with 10 lol
Cant promise but there may be sausage / Bacon sarnies on offer.
Defo will be tea, coffe and biccies but suggest you bring a mug unless the plastic cup will do.
and please bring £7 in change.
Bonus Bunny is no 38, I checked, twice.
On the second occasion I noted its a Bonus Bull too !
