    Wafta 2012 / 2013 FT Championship Rd2

    Blaina Gwent

More details to follow, contact Little Jack, who i believe has a new shooting line planned??

Wafta has changed its shooting calender to a year round series from October - September

16 rounds, 12 best scores to count.

A rolling average score will be implemented, possibly a rolling 16 and the scores like Bfta and other regions will now be done on % not points.

    ================================================== =============

Opening fours rounds will be quailfiers for Wafta 2013 World ft team. Best 3 from 4 to count, targets hit

This will be round 2 of 4.

    shooting line

    Shooting line,
Coarse will start at the other side with lanes 3-10 being virgin lanes certainly to me and pretty sure to every1 else aswell. Won't be a long coarse but don't it with blaenau wind. It will be a very good shoot.
Everyone welcome. More to follow in coming weeks.

I'd just like to thank everyone that was involved with the shoot, Big shout out to Jack for sorting the new lanes and clearing the foliage, all targets were crystal clear.

Very challenging course, really enjoyed it! had some interesting wind at times "take your pick at which direction lol" .

Congratulations to the winners good :shot:

I Look forward to the next comp see you all there!

*The breakfast roll was fantastic! was a nice energiser, Thanks Howard *cooked spot on mate :D

Yes, well done to Jack as it has to be said things are definatley improving at Blaina Gwent. Some new string and a quick scope check are all thats left?
Not the weather though, dam it was cold. Infact, the Castle ftc shoot i did a few weeks back now looks like a summer shoot in comparison!

Excellent Zero range, enough to check from 10 -50 m. i thank you.

Bit of a change in the course, obviuosly put out by a skinny ft shooter. Think nextt ime I am going to BG i will take Jack out to cosmos on the saturday night lol.
still, good eye opener really for myself and Xmas still to come lol.

Thanks to my shooting partner Arms dealer once more, as ever he made the day and i wont mention him missing the plate on the first target, stander at 30m (i tried not to laugh). What i will mention is that he hit all the other standers and shot superbly on the fly, that 65 yarder was a great shot in those temps.
Not much wind, infact there was no need for me to come out of kil. Hitting the dispalines was crucial sunday and some shooters put in some high scores to boost their gradings.
Arms dealer I think had more drift than me and certainly Martin Jones who was shooting next to us reported full kill of wind on longer shots, particually the last 5 lanes.
    Must be my set up;)

Only a couple of pics as it was too cold. It looks cold dont it! 30 shot course would have suited me given the 2-3 degrees!
