What a great end to a great year at W.A.R. 36 entries on a glorious sunny day in the Worcestershire countryside. Great to see a turnout this big so special thanks to those who travelled some distance to support the club in this way. Before the scores go up a few congratulations are in order to those performers who stood above the rest throughout the year; well done boys.

Top man of the year is Tony Male, clear winner of our very own Claret Jug. I don t mind him beating the Worcester boys as I m from Brum. Pic of the main man picking up his prize.
Second place goes to one of the most improved shooters in the club, Jeremy Massey.
    Third place Mark Russell.
    Alexdermietzel top junior.
Top springer shooter goes to Darrin Lynn
Top .22 category winner goes to Lee Malpass

Special thanks go to Johnny Smith for putting on superb courses; they never fail to test even the best and we learn a lot from them. All those who helped setting up the courses throughout the year; it makes the club what it is. Jim Tyler for being there till the end on most Sundays without even pulling a trigger. Thanks to all for putting up with my whinging when someone doesn t help pack away :)

Sincere apologies for not turning up today ! Late up and after a dash round getting the gear together pressed the starter button in the car to be rewarded with a "Click" AA man diagnosed a brand new battery fitted two weeks ago as a dud.. Mmmmmmmm

So again apologies from Craig and I..

Have a great new year all !!

    Charlie.

    Cheers all

Many thanks to all for a great day at WAR - and specifically to Johnny and his team for a great course.

Despite the fact I'm sh1te - I can always say I've had a great day - and hopefully learning by my mistakes.

    No donuts today ;)

Excuse 21a - "I'd have hit it if my pellet wasn't muddy"

Excuse 27c - "Shouldn't have had that last Whisky last night"

    See you all soon.

And Mick - thanks for your patience!

And Darrin - It's not my fault we don't take turns properly! :eek:o
