    Vintage and Classic Rifle Competition at Lea Valley 31.01.2015

    VINTAGE AND CLASSIC RIFLE COMPETITION.

    1100 START SIGN-IN BEFORE 1045

    THREE CLASSES.
    VINTAGE PRE 1956.
    CLASSIC PRE 1986.
    SEMI-RECOILING PRE 1986.
    ALL TO BE UN-MODIFIED & OPEN SIGHTS.

    NO DISPENSATION FOR CALIBRE.

    TROPHIES 1st 2nd 3rd IN EACH CLASS

    FREE STYLE POSITIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE
    STATED, MUST BE ABLE TO TOUCH PEG.

    25 TARGETS UNOBSTRUCTED 40mm KILL ZONES 10-35yds

    AND THE NORMAL GREEN FEES FOR MEMBERS VISITORS & PROBATIONERS APPLY.

    Results -

    Thanks go to Mike Carney, Mal Gwynne and John Wheeler in setting up the course for todays comp.
    The course of twenty five targets were set up on range one, Nothing further than 35yds!, nothing nearer than 8yds.
    Weather was overcast with a flurry of snow to make things interesting.
    Lots of targets got their right deserts and quite a few fell to the crack marksmanship helped along with the smell of burnt oil! coming from the "Trusty" old "Twangers".

    THERE WAS A BUNNY DRAW IN WHICH ALL COMPETITORS CARDS WERE ENTERED, ONLY THOSE WHO REMAINED FOR THE RESULTS TO BE READ OUT QUALIFIED, THE WINNERS WERE:-
