    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there's anywhere I can find out the exact differences between Air Arms models. I suppose in particular, I'd be keen to know the difference between the s4*0, the MPR and the Ultimate Sporter.

It's particularly differences that go beyond the aesthetic that I want to find out about. I have an s410 that I really like but I'm wondering whether to manually put it into a different stock and transform it a bit at a time, or whether to start again with a different, more 'match' specific rifle. If it's just about changing the stock, then that's an easy decision, but if there are many differences in action, barrel, etc, then it may be another matter...

For what it's worth, I'm only interested in HFT...

Any thoughts would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

I can't help with the specific differences on the models, but if you lose the anti tamper on your S410 and tune the trigger & clean up the hammer rail, you will get a smooth shooting action with a small fps spread in the sweet spot.
For HFT, having a different stock with adjustable cheek piece and butt and a single shot adaptor will all make shooting in comps easier.
If you havn't already done so, a visit to the Barbury club at Swindon might help if you need to see the different models in action.
