    Hi Guys,

I'm selling an Anschutz Armadillo hook on the other forum, and I was expecting a bit more interest to be honest. Is the £200 asking price realistic?

    Cheers,

    Cam.

It would be much more beneficial to post views on a thread for further reference, and stops the potential for people to think there is an auction going on. :)

I remember a couple years back when the latest version of the Anchutz butt hook came out, I sold an armadillo one for £75 but they now seem to be back in demand and fetching between £120 and £150 (or straight swaps for the latest version).

That was the model before the Armadillo Chris.

A mint Armadillo will fetch £160 easily and a not quite mint one will go for £140-150.

At £200 I would expect it to be gold plated. :)

    Early one ?

If you get one of the early ones , they have a little wheel on the side . loosen it and it slides up and down . if you take the fixed hook off and fit an armadillo it is excelent . i have one on a 2002 ??? HOLLY

    Hi Guys,

Thanks to you all for sharing your thoughts! Much appreciated.

This is the one that I have for sale:

    http://www.shooting-the-breeze.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3228

It came with Lenny's Steyr when I purchased it from him. I only really plan to shoot HFT, so a hook is no good to me.

I've been told by a handful of people that these 'Armadillos' are quite sought after, and naturally I want to make sure that I get a decent price for it! I've no idea the difference between the various models...

    Thanks again,

    Cam.

I paid £117 back in 1995 for one new in the box, £113 each for two and £120 for the 4765 almost 10 years ago.
