Hi there. I'm sure a few people have had this experience. I was clearing out the loft the other week and found the air rifle I had as a kid a diana g80. I thought, well that can go. Then I thought have a plink in the back garden..... Forgot what good fun it is and how frustrating too. However since the advent of the tinternet knowledge is just a google search away. So I'm here and quite fancy checking out my nearest club which will be Avon Hawkes. The comp side might just be the challenge I was looking for as I age disgracefully. I know little about ft hft but I have a lot of questions.
Ask away. It's a bit like your loft, you never know if you'll find junk or gem, but you hopefully will enjoy the rummage around
Hi I know my g80 isn't going to cut the mustard. From what I've read my local club is v small and hasn't got a club gun. I'm thinking of getting a second hand tx200 just to practice with in the garden and at the club. If all goes well and wanted to upgrade I could sell it for similar money. Does this make sense? Do they suit most body types with standard stock?
Hi I'm a member of Avon Hawks and its a great small club. Your right, we do not have a club gun but when you arrange to come for a visit with Christine I'm sure she can sort something out.
I agree Avon hawks is a cracking club and well worth a visit.. There are some cracking shooters there and Simon tipping haha... Berty
