Hate filled ***** to be fair mate, Its new and similar to HFT but as its not HFT so is belittled.
Money or the fact target rifles or custom stock rifles werent alowed to start with, though now put into target class.

Best to my knowledge its a sporter series to be in a way how HFTs ideology was when it first came about.

To be fair, UKAHFT banned hamsters but allowed custom stocks just as UKSARC do back in 2004(ish) from memory, it was no different. No one called HFT elitist.

HFT is just a magnet for retards a lot of the time...

And to be fair I'm sure there are retards and **** heads shooting FT/SARC or any other flavour of tin chicken shooting... I don't mean to single out HFT, but they do seem more vocal than others.

It's always people that are the problem.

Most tin chicken shooters I've seen over the last 20 years are a cross between Private Pyle and Lance Corporal Jones ... a sort of 'Dad's Harmless' ... wandering around a wood on a Sunday morning shooting thousands of pounds worth of popguns at a bit of tin up to 50 metres away.

A very few of them know what they are talking about and can actually shoot. The greatest majority fall way short on both those categories ... but they love being a part of it all ... like all the other millions of amateur sportsmen who's stories and egos far outweigh their ability. Probably made worse because all competitors of these Camo Olympics shoot the same course and you can be 'Missed most and clueless' and still feel you've been playing with the best in the country.

It's just a man thing ... nothing new. Probably to do with fear and insecurity. You join a gang and if another gang appears in the neighbourhood, you'd best have a pop at that gang in case they become a threat. As an individual in this gang you don't really know why you are shouting and jeering at the other gang, but the other blokes in your gang are doing it so they'll probably be impressed if you do it too.

As James didn't get an answer I will ask again, What is Sarc?

    What rifles are/not allowed?
    What classes?
Where can we find the rules?
    What is the course format?
Where do we find the results?
Where can we read Previous shoot reports?

    Simon

    Try HERE

    It's Sporting Air Rifle Challenge

I've never shot it. I've read several posts on it.

I got the impression it was almost a second attempt to provide a target sport option for folk who wanted to use basic 'sporting' kit and not go down the expensive target gear route.

It seemed to hit problems with people wanting to use target rifles/stocks or 'custom' stocks and the organisors then placing such kit in a special 'Target' class.

You can sit as well as other positions.

Thanks Colin, can anyone from Sarc clarify the target distance rules as they are contradictions on that website, it says targets placed from 10-45y then goes on to say some size kills can be from 8-45y?

It looks like a good challenge with more small kills than HFT, might try this!
