Many thanks to everyone that came along to this Years English Open,
Thanks to Matt and Dave for their help in setting the course, thanks to Jo and Vikki for keeping us all fed and watered.

Huge congratulations to all the class winners and to Misfits own Kathy Thompson for holding her nerve in a four way shoot off to decide the overall English Open Champion. I’m sure her husband Mark Thompson didn’t mind her beating him .

We had set the course hoping for some wind and boy did we get some,

Results Below, all scores done on count back apart from the top three that was done via a shoot off.

Well done Kathy and the class winners, great shooting. It was a fantastic day and a quick glance atthe scores you could be forgiven thinking the course only had 25 targets for a max score of 50 but there were 30 of the blighters, mostly head shots

I cant remember ever shooting a comp where no one made it into the 50's

    Great day thanks Misfits.

Still can not believe how tough that course proved to be with that testing wind.

At one time I could not shoot as the windacater was in the scope all the time.

    Seriously never seen that before.

    Still a good course.

    Well done.

Brilliant day, and a tough course in that wind, but better than having no wind and easy targets, it definitely made you work for your points and was a good leveller. Well done Misfits looking forward to the next shoot there great course.
Well done to the winners today you know you have shot well if you came out on top on a difficult day like that
Thanks Misfits I really enjoyed it

As above really, cracking course & that crazy cross wind was great to try & shoot in.
Bloody great day out with some top shooting & great banter. Well done Kathy.

However, I think us shooters from Kingsley need to find an open field to rent out so we can stick in some big fans to learn that sort of wind :D
