    Due to a few emails we have been receiving asking whether spikes can be fitted to the rifle to dig into the peg or tree we have had to add a new rule for this years competition.

    The reasoning & wording of the rule can be found HERE........its also be added to the main rules HERE

    I really can't believe it came down to having a rule for that :eek:o:eek:

    Amazing what people will try to do to try & gain a point, just put the extra time into learning your gear people....

    You UKAHFT lot aren't very flexible :mad:

    I assume using THESE on the prone lanes in 2014 Nationals is also a no-no !? What about shooting sticks, bi-pods and scopes with built in range finders - are they out of the question too !? :eek:o

    Is it April 1st ? :rolleyes::D

    Do I have to take the nails I just put through my new March out?:mad:

    Not only is it HFT Punk but you can hang your kit up on the nearest tree too.:p
    Saves buying an expensive gun bag -result:)

    Is it OK to use a g-clamp to temporarliy fix my rifle to each peg (I will obviously ensure the trigger remains behind the firing line) :confused:

    I wouldn't have answered that. I would just make sure the marshals chucked them off for being too stupid to be safe

    Nobody's done anything underhand here guys, they have just come up with a way to try to solve a problem & then emailed us to ask if it's legal....no big deal really :D

    For me the logical train of thought would be - probably easier to fix an adjustable peg to the rifle or maybe even two because that would be even more stable ,but wait a minute that would be a bipod and they aren't allowed............:)

    I thought it would have been worth allowing it and waiting for the first idiot to get their gun stuck. :D
