Just a quick question: How many FT shooters use a turret pointer? Have noticed that the turret mark on my Big Nikko's saddle isn't very conspicuous - so like the idea of using a pointer...

I know rowan engineering make 1 for use with their turrets but who else makes em??

    Cheers

Don't need one because 10 to 55yds is under one turn so I just use a chart.

I'll be using RANGESPORTS turret stickers on mine so need an accurate pointer for the turret.

I just got a MK3 that had the Rowan top turret and pointer, wasn't sure at 1st but now I've tried it it's great. I never go a full turn as I use the 55yrd dial plus mil dots for 8, 9, 10 & 11. It does show when you are up or down a turn very well if dialling all ranges though, I have managed a turn out before now so this just flags it up easier.

Yep it does look a good idea but mine is a MK1 so can't use the turret - just after a pointer.....

The rowan pointers arm is far too long for the use i'm wanting to use it for too....

I had a Rowan one on my T50 side wheel and cut it with a Dremel and then used the grinder disc to flatten it out in to blade type which meant it was finer.

    May help

Try P B Taylor he makes what you are after, Google should find him, its Ian Taylors brother. Good luck.

I've seen pics of the side wheel pointer he makes and it looks like the pointed part that holds the pointer pin is quite high and would obscure the turret marks..........

Yep have seen them and they aren't too high so probably wouldn't obscure the turret marks... i'll have a google and see if i can find some pics of turret pointers to give me some "pointers" :D
