I am pretty new to this so have been looking at different ways of ranging myself, I have not bothered with getting true mildots I have measured my mildots against a target and written it down on a sheet.

I have been warned by people with a lot more experience than me that a lot of targets on courses are Home made and are not necessarily 108mm.

i know how you feel mate. i have heard/read that distances on nockover targets are 112mm, apart from the rat they have brought out.

We are going to stuff your plans when you come to Sheb next. :shot:

We are in the process of re-equipping our HFT course with purpose-designed targets that can have movable kill zones. Yes you heard it here first, movable kill zones.:eek::eek:

And the target faceplates will be different sizes too :( so there will be nothing consistent to use for bracketing.

Ha ha ha ha ha :D

cheers Rich, burst my bubble. i was trying to be clever and look like i knew what i was doing. i`m glad you have said that now (looking forward to it) i`m getting 3 different measurements between 108mm 110mm 112mm. thats just nockover. gamo targets are diff again let alone homemade ones.:D:D:confused:
