I want to have those nice scope ribbons on my Sightron SIII scope, for distance and clicks.
I have a large turret-knop and sidewheel (Rowan), a nice program (ScobeKnob) for the scaling.

But what material do I use to fit the paper ribbons on the turret-knob and sidewheel? I don't think you can print on plastic / rain resistant material?

    Any suggestions?

Secondly, I shoot HFT now. I wonder whether you measure and click for all the distances in FT? Especially the targets to 10-12 meters. Can you combine hold-over en clicks, do other FT shooters use this technique?

I use ChairGun Pro to get the scope tape printed and then seal with selotape or 3m magic tape. It's not massively watertight, but it does the job and you can just reprint the tape if you need to.

If you're not familiar with Chairgun Pro, go into Toolbox and select scope tape. Does a pretty good job for next to nowt.

I use waterproof radio box tape for taping over printed scope tape. It's fairly durable as long as you allow an overlap at the edges of the printed tape.

I use car body pin stripe tape and a CD marker pen. Totally waterproof and lasts years.
