    it is with sad news i have to say this but we have been told we have to vacate the land that we were using as our club Thorndell FTC
    but we are in the process of looking elsewhere for land so that we can keep thorndell alive
    so don't right us off just yet we will be back please have faith in us

    RIP Thorn Dell FTC, I just had a horrible feeling this was going to happen. :mad:

    Just out of curiosity have you been on there since 1992 or before?

    If so they cannot kick you off! Even if its a verbal agreement. That is unless you have signed some kind of agreement with a notice clause. If you started renting the land after that you probably dont have any choice.

    Land tenancy (agricultural) is an issue that I have had some first hand expensive dealings with in the last couple of years.:(

    Whatever happens I wish you all the best, as it has always been a pleasure to shoot with you all. Keep us all informed.

    I believe Thorn Dell was originally started by Paul Wilson and friends around 1996.:(

    That's a total bugger! I'm really sorry to hear it, I love going to the Dell, top crew.

    Its the people that make a great club though, not the place, so lets hope you get some new land soon. We'll look forward to visiting the new Dell.

    Just a little update for you
    got up early this morning checked 5 farms out first four not interested but the fifth one was such a gent to talk too
    i won't go into details just yet but he did say he would not unopose the idea and thoughts that i gave to him
    but he did say that it would not be until the new year before anything could happen
    some things and changes to farms from the eu.

    So fingers crossed and toes for this one i am trying my best
