Had a great day - top class bacon and sausage sandwiches as usual.

Enjoyed the course - some very tricky shots that looked easy at first glance but when you got down to shoot

Thanks to Jeremy for the company and the lads on the lanes around us for the top class banter ;)

    Dave.

Enjoyed my first visit to Thorn Dell today but the wheels came off the cart a bit, I thought I was going to loose the rear axle aswell but just managed to hang on for a score in the 50s:). Thanks to Fred and John for some good company but John can you put all them grills back in the oven and not prop them up infront of targets again, and as for that chain on lane 1 :eek:

Thanks NEFTA from all at SARPA

Well done to the 30 SARPA Members who travelled down from Scotland to support this shoot and take part in our Inter-Regional HFT Challenge Match v NEFTA.
Probably the biggest invasion of armed Scots since Wallace sacked York

And congratulations to Khalid Rafiq of Dunfermline AC with the top score 59/60 - Mega Shooting Mate
"he came, he shot, he conquered!!!"

Also congratulations to Team England on their narrow victory :):):)

Thanks to Trevor and Lenny and all the Members of NEFTA for their hospitality and arranging this challenge match as part of their Hunter Series, which we are glad will be a yearly event.

    All the best

Many thanks to Thorn dell for a great day and what a brilliant NEFTA hunter season we've had this year. Great to see the Tartan army make an appearance.

One teeny weeny comment though:eek:....could we please make sure all targets are clear of grass before the shoot? there was one target in particular that had the whole target covered by grass never mind the kill (target 29 i think). I actually clipped grass twice on 2 very easy targets. It's a hunter shoot so all targets should be visible prone. We had two young shooters (Dylan and Thomas) that just couldn't see the kills on targets 27 and 29.
