Strange they have gone back to the old quickfill, I'd have thought they'd have fitted their own trigger rather than a Rowan too :);)

I cant understand why the cheek piece is sloped and adjustable, surely one or the other? And that does look like a Rowan trigger! Pre AT breech, Pro target muzzle end, old style fill cap, Production limited to how many old parts they have left?
On the plus side that looks like an MPR barrel.

I have just had a look on the AA website, the std Ultimate Sporter looks very nice, looks to be the same laminate as the FTP, shown with a flat cheek piece, multishot and side lever, If I ordered one and it arrived with a sloping cheek piece it would be going straight back though! I cant shoot without consistent eye position. I wonder why there are pics of it both ways?

What part did the GML team and Air Arms create the stock ? The muzzle and cocking bolt was a GML (Gary,Mick & Lee) creation. They were also fitted with a .177 channel.

I seem to recognise this gun from somewhere, but it used to sit in a CS800.

This one didn't have a pellet channel from new, but I think it was one of the last ones the guys put together. It is also unusual in the gloss black, one of only three that I have seen but they might have made more gloss. I think Chris C had another gloss hunter.

Looks nice in that ultimate stock Andy.

Sorry to ask but what is GML ?? Is it a special edition or something ? You say GML AA S 400.

    Confused ??

Basically, the rifle starts off as a standard AA S400. Then 3 lads from the West Midlands (Gary Radford) who is now no longer with us RIP. Mick Troman and Lee Hadlington worked there magic on the standard rifle to turn it into a GML.

Mick still does a bit of work when he has time and has done a great job on my GML S200 of which there were only 3 made.

    Neil.

So is this true or made up ? Because I did actually say when at AA the other week, that they should drop an MPR into the US stock & sell it.... Be a very good HFT rifle out of the box I think...
