Todays round of the N.W. HFT Gauntlet series, a competition open to clubs as well as individuals, went like clockwork with no stoppages  :D even though over 60 shooters shot the 25 target course.

After the shooting event and BBQ the people bringing in the targets had a visitor in the shape of the N.W. Air Ambulance which was called to the aid of a visiting competitor who had been taken ill.

    NW Air Ambulance.

We have asked for them to visit again on Sun 22nd Aug, our annual charity shoot, to provide a little extra wind. :D

    Hi Dave,

The lad was Epileptic and was under medication.
He was taken to Blackburn Hospital. He had been fitting for over 45 minutes which is a long time. His dad was there so was able to give the Medics full information.

He received excellent treatment before being put in the helicopter.
Talked to Dave B about a joint club Charity shoot for the Air Ambo. They deserve it.

    Hoping he's O.K.

    Ray.

Ken has just contacted me to say he has just fetched Carl from out of Hospital today, Thursday, that was a hell of a stay! it must have been a bad seisure. Ken tells me he is fine and might even be back out shooting this sunday, well if his gun still shoots straight!

    Cheers Simon.
