We are holding our annual Summer Sizzler at Popham Woods on Sunday 6th September 2009.

The "Mother of all Hunters" will this year return using our Classic HFT format comprising of two 30 shot courses to give a possible maximum of 120 ex 120;)

This course is not for the faint hearted or for those with a nervous disposition and will test you to the limits:cool:

Please be advised that there will be no mini-kills or compulsory lanes and we won't be napalming the area beforehand:D We may take the odd liberty with the distances although no target will be closer than the minimum CSFTA range.

Entry costs to be finalised as will the trophy numbers. Basically though, the more interest, the higher the number of trophys up for grabs.

There will be the usual catagories, Open, Recoiling and Juniors and possibly top .22 as well.

Adam has been booked for the catering and he has assured me he will be attending himself this time after the problems of the food at round 5.

More details to be added, but if you fancy a different competition, then come along and try the Sizzler. To quote Gary C. "MAKE NO MISTAKE CHAPS, THIS IS BRITAINS BEST SHOOTING EVENT".:)

    All ready folks

Just got back from the course building and we've a couple of crackers for those brave enough to attend;):D

This is a deffinate thinking shooters course with a mixture of easy to hard shots. Its very much in the vein of a traditional hunter of the early days of HFT but also includes a couple of the fun type sizzler lanes:rolleyes::eek:

For those used to UKAHFT format, if you've not shot one of our sizzler or bunny bash courses, then you will find the rules "different". The format is more "au naturel" if you know what I mean:p

Adams doing the food and every entrant gets a free badge (don't get over excited) when the score cards are handed in.

Booking in needs to be done by 9.00, breifing at 9.30. Shotgun start at 09:45!

Entry is £8.00 and £5.00 for juniors 15 and under.

Hope to see as many of you as possible.

    Bob
