There is a very nice Irish pub at the central square in Deventer. It's called the Irish Elk. The times i have been there, they always had football on a large screen. They also have a large collection of beers from accross GB and even have English speaking staff. I'm quite sure they are watching the game. If you wanna be sure, call them in advance.

We do not have an exact time. Depends also on whether you want to attend the handing out of the prizes and the raffle. It's a larger number of contestants (90) than normal for us, but it's a lot less targets (30). We normally shoot HFT/FT combined with 40 and 50 targets respectively. We start at 11 am this Saturday. My guess is we should be finished shooting at around 2 to 2.30 pm. Our clock is +1 hour compared to the UK's by the way.

If you cooperate and quickly faceplate all shots and leave before the raffle, you're probably in time for the game. :)

    Breaking News!

We have discussed with the land owner the possibility for camping on Saturday evening. We can offer camping for Saturday night, campers are supposted to leave on Sunday morning before noon. Under these conditions we are allowed to have people camping on the site.

    One other important issue.

We have ticks on the grounds and also Oak Processionary Moths, so it is heavily advise to dress up with long sleeves and long trousers! This will give a proper protection!

A shooting mat helps greatly in keeping you off the ground and out of the ticks territory. In the woods where we are shooting there is only a thin layer of dried leaves, so no long grass.

Essentials for the night shoot in the pic: lamp (sharp beam of sufficient intensity, not too bright which is a PITA on the close targets), mounting (like the rubber thing with Velcro) and a head lamp (to not load your pellet backwards and to write down the scores).

Hard work again today. After the targets, after the woods, today almost any conceivable liquid and solid that goes into and comes out of the human body had our attention. We're talkin' BBQ, loo, drinks and a food truck.
