All this talk of rain is worrying me...

Isn't the Netherlands still at great risk from flooding if that little boy ever takes his finger out of the dike?

As long as it is not raining, flooding is less of a change as well ;). But Schalkhaar is above see level (mind it! maybe you will suffer from altitude disease ;) ) so we still are ok.

We have trophy's for all categories, however, the top 5 UK scores V The Top 5 from Europe will decide the Brexit trophy for control of Europe. Theresa May has been informed and as we are taking a smattering of World and National champions, I have been told the Jean-Claude Juncker is getting worried.

    Europe will be ours

This evening was spent preparing the woods for the competition. We had a storm some weeks ago and we had to clear a lot of fallen branches. Some massive 100 year old beech and oak trees had been blown over, however, making the grounds all the more interesting for the course setting on Friday.

Can you please confirm 100% that we can't stay at the site Friday and Saturday?
This was supposed to be the agreement and the reason we have spent a lot of money hiring a motor home to come and support this shoot.

Unfortunately, extended camping can't be offered at this site. The terrain belongs to a farm. Also extended camping would make multiple day supervision and services necessary. The club is run by volunteers and the cost and effort would be prohibitive. Sorry.

Seeing as the mighty Lions are now in the quarter finals of the World Cup, can one of our hosts suggest a suitable bar to watch the game at. Kick off is 4pm on Saturday.
