    Hello

    A intriguing question for me.
I bought a Dan Wesson 8 inch barrel on 4.7 (177) with few tweaks
I'm able to shoot cans at 40 yards. But by mistake I bought a 4x20
telescopic scope, that is far of what I need.
I don't know anything about scopes, so can you guys give me a
advice on a telescopic scope that reaches up to 40 yards?

    Thanks

I believe you have got your distances Wrong

    A CO2 Pellet Pistol might drop a pellet @ 40 Metres
But doubt if can do it - especially as Day's get colder and the gun fires more liquid than Gas

They are made for Rapid fire not distance Accuracy Shots like a Target Pistol

I shoot Pistol HFT with a PCP Pistol - and All Targets are Set with 25 Yards

Also known to Shoot - IPAS with CO2 Powered Pistols

With Scopes - it needs to be a Pistol Scope - As Focusing is totally different than Rifle Scopes
a Quality one could cost far more than Pistol -

I have a bushnell 2-7x32 pistol scope . obviously designed for handguns with a long eye relief and variable mag.
It yours for £100boxed and paperwork if your interested. I just prefer red dot sights as I don't shoot that far out with pistols.

no it has to be a pistol scope with long eye relief normlly around 15" unless your going to shoot with your eye 3 inches away from the scope

generally pistol scopes are normally around 2x magnification but never over 7 as you wouldn't be able to hold it still enough at anything over that.
