    My usually supplier ( Advanced netting) is out of Orange Target string

    What alternatives are there ??

    Barry Mcdonald (kilty on here) does a nice string not to heavy duty

    Yep. But you can get it up to 2mm. There's 6 grades, 1-6.

    Simon, would be interested in what you think of the ‘Screwfix’ line. I am looking to replace all of my strings this winter. A score out of 10 would be helpful

    Its bright but thun, so my eyes have to work harder to see it at 50 us yards.

    More expensive but being local easier to buy.

    Can't say on its durability as it's only just gone out.

    But the fact it's ligher in weight is good as it allows better wind reading.

    So far it's say about 7.5.
    Could rise if it lasts a year out in the woods !

    Is the screwfix stuff stretchy? Their builder's line stuff has been a pita in the past due to needing to gather armfuls of it when pulling up target.
