    You can see my very expensive front rest here, some bits of wood put together to make a frame and a sand bag on top, probably cost about £30 in total but it helped get me a silver in the HV a few weeks ago.

    No rear bag, just using my left hand as support (as a right handed shooter).

    Not a fan of complicated and costly front rests, in outdoor comps they can slow down any necessary adjustments for changes in the wind which can cost points.

    i've made a fair few bags for the lab jacks over the last 2 years for people at my clubs . here's a pic of my set up its got me 2 golds in the midlands league so far so I'm a bit reluctant to change it

    Tony, one of our guys tried your rest system the other day after I sent them a couple of photos.... they said never again.

    Retroruss, that is pretty much the set up I am looking to put together, I have used a much flatter front bag, as it is what I have to hand, the next acquisition is a rear bag something like the one you have there.
