For people attending the shoot at Rivi's Turton range please take care when driving up to the range.

When you pass the Stone pillars (in the photo) the road is very rough for about 50 yds (until over the railway bridge).
Unfortunately we can't do much about this as the road is Council property and if we repair we could be liable.

There is tarmac before and after so just take your time and you'll be O.K.

    Just to let people know.

If you use I.J.'s Wally's guide directions from Tawd to Turton Tower.

The road from the motorway to Turton Tower is quite twisty so please take care. I.J. rides a motorbike so doesn't know what bends are :D

Just been down that road and the dog was sick

    Safe driving people.

Ive got to admit this is a bikers road. One of the few good ones in Lancashire with a few tight turns and dips plus a fantastic views over Darwen, Preston and beyond. You can get four wheels off the ground even in a Reliant Robin! On a clear day you can see the coast if youve got time to look! :D With big drops to the right if you loose it - you loose it BIG style. :D

The venue will be sign posted from the motorway (M65 jnct 5) with 'HFT' signs from early Sun. morning.

    Safe driving. ;)
