Well done to Castleton FTC for putting on a very good course today, I think you ordered the wind and rain on purpose,So Tony F said.....:) Also thanks to Berty for the company and banter, The more I shoot this walther the better it gets it seems, No stress in the shoot of for 6th , 5th and 4th. And very well done to Barry Smith on his 33.

Now this must be one of the 1st times SWEFTA have beat WAFTA on there home turf for a long time so very well done to the SWEFTA Team, We were missing a few top shots but we prevailed in the end some good scores allround in spite of the conditions .

Thanks to all at Castleton on a good day shooting dispite the rain & wind.

Also a very well done to Barry Smith with the top score.

I managed to miss the first 7 targets in a row before finally getting my act together and pulling my score back to be all level with my partner going into the last lane. Unfortunately he missed the first and then shot the wrong target letting me in to pip him by one. I was gutted for you Dave :(, but it was a pleasure to go round the course with you ... thanks for your company. :)

As per above thanks to Castleton and all others who helped lay the day on. Could have done without all those misses on the small field as it would have saved me coming up against rock solid Jonesy in the shoot off. God help us once he's had 6 months to get used to that bloody Walther!

Great result by SWEFTA to prevail away from home :D

Well from myself it was good to see you lads down our end for the shoot.

The weather wasnt the best, my little baby is now used to shooting in hot conditions and took her a little while to adjust haahaa.....

Well done to the SWEFTA team fully deserved and nice to see the Walther's making an appearance for you. Has to be said Chris, you wont go far wrong with 1.

Hope to catch up soon or hopefully see you over our end during the winter, you know you lads are more than welcome to join us. Also thanks to yourself Chris for partnering up today, was good fun fella.

Pat and his wife gave me the SWEFTA cards and the list because I asked for them; they may still have the WAFTA ones if you give Pat a ring. Or email pat-isaacs@hotmail.com

Apols Berty. I had my hands full with my own shoot off then a rush to put the kit away before we got drenched (again).

Jack had a 29, I went round with his dad, who let me try his rig afterwards. That left hand Steyr is the toy I want next; Jason if you ever want to part with it tell me first.
