I know a few of the Welsh lads I was speaking to at oaktree were showing some intrest in poping down for a shoot and I did say the date was on here but can't find anything.
There will be full cooked breakfast or sandwiches avaliable
Also plenty of home made cake. There will be both field target and hunter courses out ready to use.

Got back a few hours ago from the club big thanks to those that helped get everything ready for tomorrow. 4 big cakes ready to go! Lots of food! If anybody wants to order a breakfast for first thing when you get there, send me a pm tonight with the time you should be arriving and we will make sure there is one ready for you! Remember everyone is welcome not just swefta members! Regards john

I can't promise anything but there is lemon drizzle! And chocolate, coffee and Victoria sponge. Plus apple, apple and blackberry, apple & custard and mince pies!

At a 24 hour mtb race I was at a couple of years ago, after doing a nighttime / very early morning stint, I sat down at 5.30am to a fine breakfast of coffee and lemon drizzle cake.

I am aiming to get to BW at around 7.30am tomorrow, and look forward to repeating the experience.

Amazing shoot today, well done to the team who put the courses together, especially Tony and Lee for shifting several tonnes of aggregate.

Also, special thanks to Anne and Megan for my coffee and lemon drizzle cake breakfast, my only complaint was that when I asked to repeat the two for lunch, I found that there was no drizzle cake left, as someone had bought it all.... hadn't they Simon.

Still the coffee cake was pretty darn good too, so, swings and roundabouts.

Yes would like to add my thanks to John, Anne and ALL the Buckley wood Team for putting on today's shoot.

Don't believe there were any whistles today and as always the course was very tricky especiallty the long ones on the far bank with the 'switching' wind conditions.

Special thanks to Neil who did not shoot in order to look after the stats for the day.

Well done all and thank you! :)

Just to add that a lot of people put in a lot of work to make this shoot happen, I don't know all their names, but they all worked themselves silly, so, thank you everyone.

Thank you to the ladies in the kitchen, Roz, Anne and Megan, the Buckley Wood breakfasts are legendary.

And as a non breakfast eater, can I just say a special thanks to Roz, the creator of the cakes and my personal Goddess of taste, texture and all things yummy.

    Hi,
just a quick note with regards the trophy shoot, as some members of SWEFTA might be aware, this shoot is the last shoot that Roz and Russ will be in charge of at the club, before they hand over the helm to Anne and her son John. May I just take this opportunity on behalf of all past and present members of the club, to thank them both for their tireless hard work over the last fourteen years or so, to build a great club to be a member of, and a venue I am sure all enjoy attending. Can I also wish Anne and John all the best for the future.
    Many thanks,
    Lee.
