Good shoot today at Buckley Wood FTC, The wind conditions were very kind to the shooters today which is a Buckley 1st so the diciplines played there part in separating the top shots.Shame there was a few byes in the 1st two rounds due to no shows but hopefully that will be addressed for next year.

Very well done to Rich Clark in winning the SWEFTA showdown 2009 and to Rod Davies on winning the plate after a shoot of with Dave Nash.

Yep good fun today and well done to Rich my scalp was on his path to the final. Thanks to Buckley and all others involved in organising the event.

Would have said it was nice to see Dave C there too but I have a feeling I'll wish he hadn't been.

Well done to Rich and Rod on a good shooting performance.

Many thanks to all who organised today's event and to Buckley Wood for hosting it.

I had a great time, first time I've ever shot a showdown, I'll have to try and book a place for next year.

Excellent day out, good company, good food and copious (sp) amounts of tea. See you all at the SWEFTA / WAFTA next weekend.

    Rod

PS you were certainly right about the dicipline shots Chris, especially in the shoot offs.
